Welcome to Focus Cosmo. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how we handle your data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Data We Collect

Focus Cosmo is designed to be privacy-first. We do not have an account system and we do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics SDKs.

The only data processed includes:

  • Subscription Data: Handled through RevenueCat and Apple’s App Store. This includes subscription status, purchase history, and transaction identifiers. We do not have access to your payment card details.
  • Push Notifications: Focus Cosmo primarily uses local notifications. In some cases, your device may generate a push notification token to enable delivery. This token may be accessed temporarily at runtime to send or schedule a notification, but it is never stored in our systems or linked to any personal identifier.

We do not collect your name, email address, location, or usage analytics.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Validate and manage your subscription and provide Premium features
  • Deliver notifications if you have enabled them
  • Comply with legal obligations (e.g., purchase records retained by Apple/RevenueCat)

We do not use your data for advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not sell personal data.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We share minimal data with:

  • RevenueCat: Manages subscription status and communicates with Apple’s App Store.
  • Apple App Store: Processes payments and manages subscriptions; Apple’s policies apply to payment processing.

We do not share data with third parties for marketing, advertising, or analytics.

5. Data Retention

  • Subscription records are managed by Apple/RevenueCat and retained while your subscription is active, subject to their policies and applicable law.
  • Notification tokens, if generated, are handled temporarily at runtime by the device/Apple. We do not persist or store these tokens beyond their immediate use.

6. Your Rights (GDPR/UK & CPRA)

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, delete, correct, object to, or port your data.

To exercise rights, email support@ploreon.com. Because we don’t keep accounts or store emails, we may ask you to provide limited purchase details (e.g., the transaction identifier from your App Store receipt) so we can locate your subscription record. Platform-level requests (such as refunds or billing issues) must be made directly through Apple.

California (CPRA): We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as defined by CPRA and do not offer financial incentives for personal data.

7. Children’s Privacy

Focus Cosmo is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the higher digital consent age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are under 13, please use the app only with parental or guardian guidance.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect information. For subscription handling, we also rely on Apple’s and RevenueCat’s security protections. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed outside your country. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used in accordance with applicable law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. We will post updates here and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated in-app.
