Lucidory Terms of Use (v1.0.0)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Lucidory ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part, you must not use the App.

2. Eligibility and Account

  • You must be at least 13 years old, or older if required in your jurisdiction.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts for violations of these terms or extended inactivity.

3. Features & Services

  • AI-powered dream analysis based on Jungian psychology using Google Gemini.
  • Symbol and archetype detection, emotional analysis, and dream pattern tracking.
  • Users can interact with an AI assistant and receive personalized responses.
  • Dream entries are end-to-end encrypted and securely stored via Supabase.

4. Data Collection and Consent

  • By using the App, you consent to the processing and analysis of your dream entries and personal data.
  • We share anonymized or encrypted content with third-party AI services (e.g., Google Gemini) to provide core features.
  • We collect device metadata (locale, OS, etc.) via RevenueCat for subscription management and analytics.
  • We never sell your personal or dream data for advertising purposes.

5. Subscription & Billing

  • Subscriptions are managed via Apple App Store and handled by RevenueCat.
  • Free trial: Users receive a 3-day free trial unless otherwise specified.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • Plan offerings (monthly, yearly, etc.) may change; new options may be added in the future.
  • Users may manage or cancel subscriptions through their Apple ID settings at any time.

6. Refund Policy

All payments and refunds are processed by the App Store. Lucidory does not directly issue refunds. Please refer to Apple’s official refund policy.

7. Ownership and Intellectual Property

  • You retain full ownership of your dream entries and content.
  • By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to analyze and present results within the App.
  • All code, branding, content, and functionality within Lucidory are the intellectual property of the App developer and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

8. Notifications and Communication

The App may send push notifications, including daily dream journal reminders and updates. You may optionally receive service-related emails in the future. You can opt out at any time.

9. Account Deletion and Data Removal

You may permanently delete your account through the App interface. Upon deletion, all user data (including encrypted dream entries) is permanently erased and unrecoverable. We do not retain personal data after deletion except for minimal technical logs to ensure system integrity.

10. Acceptable Use Policy

  • Use the App only for lawful, non-commercial, and personal purposes.
  • Do not upload harmful, abusive, illegal, or offensive content.
  • Reverse-engineering, tampering with, or disrupting the App is strictly prohibited.

11. No Medical Advice

Dream interpretations and emotional analyses provided by Lucidory are for informational and entertainment purposes only. The App is not a substitute for professional psychological, psychiatric, or medical advice or treatment.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, data accuracy, or feature availability at all times.

13. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App.
  • We are not responsible for third-party platforms, such as AI services or App Store infrastructure.

14. Updates and Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable in your country of residence, unless otherwise required by applicable local law.
